Kaichou, oh, goodness, this is so hard to start.

I remembered it like it was yesterday, seeing your streams for the first time in October, and then finally deciding to enter Kiryu-kai in March. You have served, and will continue to serve, as my inspiration and motivation.

At times like these, I’m just so terrible with words. Goodbyes are always hard for a reason, but this one hits harder than I’ll ever expect. I’ll genuinely miss all the crazy fun and laughter we all shared on stream. You’re a trailblazer, an example of thriving in spite of the odds, a beacon of kindness even in adversity. You shared with us lots about you, and we did our clumsiest best to reply in kind; it is this shared bond that I hope will connect you and all of us even as you part ways with us. The shitposts and memes are eternal evidence that you were here with us, and you will always be a special part of our lives. No one can take that our love for you from all 1.1 million plus of us.

A simple thank you isn’t enough, but it will do. また会いましょう、どこかで！

I am proud of you. I am proud of everything you have done, relentlessly, and without respite. I am proud of your strength, your will, and your dedication to the world. I am proud to call myself a member of the 桐生会, a small piece of the kaigainiki, and one of the million-more fans that know you for who you are. I am proud of your influence on the community. I am proud of every single living moment we were able to share with you. 

I hope you can be proud of yourself, too, Coco. I hope you will look back fondly at the groundwork you've laid, the future you've set, and the world you've built, and feel not sadness nor regret, but joy and achievement. 

We loved having you, Coco, and we hold close to heart our memories of you. And we know that you love us, too, as much as we may have driven you nuts. You will, forever, be our fierce and unwavering Kaichou.

We'll miss you. May we meet again, sometime, somewhere.

Dear Coco Kaichou, 

I have a difficult time accepting the fact that you will be graduating. Truth to be told, I am very upset as I was always looking forward to your streams because you are my favorite Hololive member. It would probably take some time for me to cope with your departure but don't feel guilty Coco-Kaichou, it is just me being a literal man-child. I alone am to blame for my own feelings.

I like everything about you. From your voice, accent, character design (well of course), your cute and somewhat silly-looking dragon form, and your way of entertaining us. I have also learned some...new stuff that uh, broadens my knowledge and changes my view about things. Thank you for that.

Worry not Kiryuu Coco. Though you will leave, you will not be forgotten. You will be remembered, praised, and admired not only as a member of the Hololive 4th Generation but also as someone who has endured considerable hardship and continued to be there for our sake anyway. Thank you, again.

This is not the end. 

This is the beginning, both for you and for us.

If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have gotten into hololive much or vtubers in general. While it is sad and to be honest quite surprising to hear that you are graduating. I am fine with the decision since you have made the choice yourself. It will take a while for everything to calm down but I will respect your wishes and still support you! 

You will always be remembered as part of hololive as a 4th generation who has inspired many people and has endured a lot of hardship to make it to where you are at now. 

Thank you for everything. With the end of an era a new one begins!

What to say? I’m always just bitterly horrible at goodbyes; letting go isn't exactly my forte… But, life will go on and we’ll all find our way somehow. Overall, though, I’m hoping you can find some peace and happiness. As we all know that you’ve been through far more than you ever deserved to be put through, and overcame it all! While--of course--I was shocked and utterly heartbroken to hear of your graduation, over the past few days I’ve gained some perspective on the matter, and realized how important what you’re doing is. By stepping down of your own volition, and choosing when and how to go out, instead of just up and leaving without a trace, you’re teaching us how to say goodbye. So that this landscape which you have irreversibly changed for the better, prospers long after you’ve gone. You should be eternally proud of yourself for all the work you’ve tirelessly and ceaselessly put in. You’re the very Scott Joplin of Vtubing! As you took this niche thing and introduced it to the rest of the world, making it what I’d confidently say is the future of entertainment. Just as all music with its roots in America goes back to him; so too will Vtubing in the West go back to you. Kiryu Coco.

For me personally, though, I remember the first time I heard your voice in a ‘Just Chatting’ stream, and WOW! Such a unique and interesting voice, I immediately knew you’d quickly be one of my favorites, and you were. I’ll always hear it in the back of my head, I’m sure of that much. Aside from how clever and endearing your personality is, what really struck me was the level of ease that you’re able to swap between Japanese and English with. It’s what inspired me to study Japanese in a serious fashion back in November! Now, I’m getting closer and closer to being fluent everyday, little by little, and it’s because of you. You alone lit that fire in me, and I’m forever grateful, as it has truly become my second life-long love (second only to making music lol).

I’m rambling now (すみまsorry), but I guess I’m saying that yes, 4th Gen and Hololive itself will never--and quite honestly could never--be the same without you here. However, the only constant is change, and well… Here we are. July 1st will come and be gone before we all know it, but you will stick around for a very long time indeed. They say that there are never enough tears, but they will dry in time, and we’ve time enough; 500 years, in fact!!! So I’ve marked my calendar to be free all-day July 1st 2521…!

Thank you not only for letting us be “part of your world”, but for teaching me how to be who I’m supposed to be.

All of the time that you were with us kaicho, it will be a treasure for sure, we made good memories and made a lot of friends thanks to you, there were ups and downs for sure but you showed us how strong you are and that's one thing I love about you <3

Goodbyes are always sad, but if we move forward we might be able to find something like before or even better. You were always yourself no matter the situation and we all love that, I know there are a lot of people that supports you I am for sure that they love you and treasure you because your very special, you make us laugh, you make us feel sad but in a good way, you gave us a lot to remember, a lot of emotions, it was a crazy rollercoaster, but I am sure that everyones including myself don’t regret meeting you and all of hololive, they gave us a lot of things in these difficult times, but thanks to you and Hololive we were able to be here one more year, and I hope we will be there more years.

Goodbye Kiryu Coco it was nice meeting you, thank you for everything you have done, you sure will be remember, I hope we can meet again somewhere else, but who knows, I hope you get some rest after you leave, cause I know you are tired, because you really did a huge change to Hololive, you gave the girls love and support, so Thank You!!!!!!!!

It's been over a year since I first became a fan of Hololive, and vtubers as a whole. However, I remember learning about Hololive even before then. It's fitting that one of the distinct memories I recall came from AsaCoco.

Your content bridging the overseas gap to vtubers was such a massive influence to the strength of the community today that it’s crazy to think it wasn’t always like this. Many of us, myself included, owe a lot to the wonderful experiences you've given us; not just from the crazy memes and wild humour, but the wise, kind, and hard-working side that would brighten everyone's day. While it's sad to see that time has come to an end, we'll never forget the memories of our time together, and we'll smile towards the future opening up from the good that has been done in the past.

Thank you for everything Kaichou! We wish you the best of luck in your future!

The past year and a half or so of Hololive has been a wild one with the shenanigans you’ve gotten up to, but it’s been a wild ride that I and many others have enjoyed being a part of.  You’ve done so much to lift up your friends and coworkers, it’s impressive, and you inspire those around you, fans included.  As with anything good, it must eventually come to an end, but I’m glad that you’ve decided to go out with a bang and do as much as you can before heading out.  I’m sure that people will look back on your time at Hololive with great fondness.  You’re a force to be reckoned with, to be sure.  Good luck out there, Kaichou!
