Hey everyone.

Today marks the completion of the game's version 0.1 milestone. This game begin with the idea of - what happens if the Hololive characters are drawn as video game characters. As the idea developed, it got molded into a Darkest Dungeon clone. This demo features the basic combat mechanic of the game, it should be familiar to DD players. However, this is where the game will diverge from Darkest Dungeon.

I have plans of adding gameplay features that would give players are more streamlined experience, at the same time, expanding the depth of the game. Each of the battle features multiple encounters, meaning players will have to fight a few waves of enemies per battle, instead of just one group. BUT, the players do not have to face off the enemies with just their four chosen Hololivers, in future updates, players will be able to switch characters in and out battle as they see fit.

The story of the game is kind of a cliché, but it works for the game - the Hololive members have been sucked into another world, and they have to find their way back to Hololive HQ while battling monsters and saving their friends on the way. As the story suggests, the players can recruit more Hololivers to join their ever expanding party to help in their quest to save everyone.

There are also plans to include a visual-novel style of storytelling the game, which be added in between battles to give players some time to catch their breath, add some light humour (and memes) and plan for their next adventure.

I am currently working on the game with a group of volunteers to help bring this idea to life and I'm very grateful for all the help I'm receiving. This game is done completely on my own free time and it's a passion project, so the game is planned to be completely free to play when it finally releases.
