Weekly WIP #2

"Ossu! Yumei here. I've got some exciting stuff this week. Drweam is finally done with implementing the visual-novel section of the game, along with cool animations. Here's what it looks like right now."

"Drweam says that there are elements of the game that will be changed in the future, so not everything is finalized. Also, more animations is slowly being added, to make the whole thing look more lively. Isn't that awesome?"

"It's so cool to see so many different parts of the game working together to display something so simple as characters talking on screen. Man, I wish I'm a character in the game as well. Anyway, here's a short clip of how everything looks like when played out."

"Other than the visual-novel thingy, Drweam has also been working on animating new enemies, bug fixing, and other behind the scenes stuff."

"Ha ha... It's all slimes. I guess they are a staple of fantasy games after all. Drweam also said something about a boss for the next version... uhh, I'm not sure if I was supposed to say that. Ha ha..."

"Anyway, that's it for the weekly work-in-progress update. Before I go, I would like to show this really cool drawing of me done by Sylphine-sensei. Do follow Sylphine-sensei when you get the chance. See you next week!"

That's pretty cool, did you make your own VN editor or are you using existing tools?

This seems to be progressing fast, best of luck!

VN editor is developed by one of our teammates. He did most of the legwork while I did some re-purposing of his scripts to better fit the project.

Other than the VN screenplay editor, everything done on Unity does not have additional paid assets.

The game is looking so good!

Keep up the good work!

Thanks, I will try my best!
